Lakrau was formed in the beginning of 1990 with Carlos Pereira (Bé) and João Silva, both musicians of a project called Massive Roar. In February of 1991 Lakrau starts playing live along with several Portuguese metal bands. In 1992 they play in the first metal/trash festival in Tramagal, Abrantes with Thornado and Afterdeath. In the same year they perform live in the extinct Lisbon rock club Johnny Guitar and thereafter they’re included in the first long play edition of Portuguese metal called “The birth of a tragedy”, an MTM compilation of bands such as Sacred Sin , Thormenthor and Morbid God ( first named project of Moonspell ). In 1993, Ricardo Santos (Indio) leaves the band, and Carlos Pereira joins a Reagee band named Kussondulola . João Pauloreplaces Ricardo in guitars and João Alves takes charges in bass. The band splits up in 1994 and gives place to a new project called Fallacy .
