I run a nightclub, I book bands and I've got a dalmation. I swear that dog's on crack! I've been in the nightclub business since the mid eighties. I have seen very ugly things! I started out as a bouncer and ended up in managment. If I had any brains at all I'd be a bartender! Over the Years I've worked allot of clubs. One Step Beyond, DNA lounge, Townsend, DV8, The Oasis, the Edge, FX and now Dreamstreet Live. As much as I loved living in San Francisco with it's great nightlife and amazing resturants, it's too damn cold! It's good to be home in Ocean Beach, where I still complain about the cold every time it drops below 60. I've had a good time over the years working with bands like The Ramones, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers(with socks), the Untouchables, Fishbone, Motorhead, Chris Isaac and the Reverend Horton Heat. All of whom were really cool just as people.....watch out for Lemy though, He'll try to make You drink Jack Daniels out of the bottle! I've also worked with some amazing DJ's, especially from the SF House Scene in the 90's. Julius Papp, who is not only a great DJ and producer but the kind of guy who is so nice that he's always got a smile. Rick Preston was my co-conspiritor as we tried to drag San Jose out of the 80's and into the 90's at FX. Doc Martin and Blackstone at DNA, Jeno, Garth, Harry Who and Spun.
