Rick G Nelson III

Rick Nelson is a musician/ producer that currently resides in New Orleans. He works internationally with such bands as The Polyphonic Spree, The Mandrake Project, St. Vincent and My Jerusalem. The most recent album he (co)produced was The Mandrake Project's "A Miraculous Container". He is often hired for his unique talent of composing, performing, and recording string quartets and quintets for various artists. With these parts doubled and often times tripled, he gives songs the element of a full string orchestra. This one man orchestra takes music to the next symphonic level at his New Orleans based studio located within an old shotgun design house dating back to the 1890's. The home was almost completely destroyed during Hurricane Katrina, but Rick Nelson single handedly rebuilt the home and converted it into his current studio. Every nail, every screw.
