I have many interests, some already mentioned, but we don't have to fill our time doing what I like to do. I am also interested in finding out what other people like to do and then doing that. I am interested in talking politics and other interesting topics.
I'd like to meet someone intelligent who can carry on a conversation, at least to some degree, on virtually any topic. Someone warm and friendly who doesn't spend most of their time bitching about others. I'd love to find someone who would be happy to just go for a long walk, or drive, after dinner and chat. Someone who doesn't need to always be a part of the gay community, someone who does what he enjoys whether or not it is gay themed.
Mainly 60's and 70's rock and roll, but I've been known to listen to quite a number of different types of music. Love Pink Floyd and Eric Clapton, but also like Celine Dion and Enya. Elton John and David Bowie I can listen to year-round.
I watch mostly horror, comedy or science fiction . . . not into much serious drama, there's enough of that in life. Loved "The Ring," "The Chronicles of Narnia," and "Must Love Dogs."
I love King of Queens, and also watch American Idol and Amazing Race. I also enjoy watching "Fear Factor," (always like seeing what people will do for $50,000). Also, anything Star Trek.
I recently read Nick Bantock's Griffin and Sabina trilogy. I like reading biographies too . . . and can't get enough of flipping through cookbooks, though I seldom cook. I do like to bake, though.
The greatest heroes are the people who raise children to be decent adults. Also, the people who can live their lives with integrity and self-respect without trying to tell others how to live their lives.
