About Me

Tony was born and grew up in Yorkshire. There were often music in the house, and he developed an interest for that early. The choice of instruments was Guitar and Mandolin. Early influences were people like Eric Clapton, Johnny Cash, Big Bill Bronzy, Led Zeppelin and Free. In 1970 he joined his first band, Sweeney Todd, a pop-rock band. 1975 he teamed up with his brother in Legend. The two brothers worked together for four years, then Tony moved on to Spiney. Where he stayed until 1981. At that time he felt that he wanted to do something else, and joined an Irish Showband, The Southern Country Machine. As the years passed, Tony developed his own distinct style, and talent for working on and adding flavour and soul to original music. This was very successfull with Julie Strother,. they worked together until 1994. That..s when he met John Davis and joined Atlanta. In Atlanta he works on the wealth of songs from John. Over the years there has been tours all over the world, several in The USA and Ireland. Besides music Tony has a backround in acting and doing stunt jobs for english television. There has also been TV appearences over the years. He has also done consulting work for major events. So what does Tony do when he is not playing ? The other big love in his life is the Sea. As often as he can he goes sailing on his ocean going yacht. And the story continues................ Myspace Layouts
