I love music and movies, dancing and singing, my incredible husband, beaches, French Vanilla Coldstone Icecream with hot fudge and cookie dough, babies and puppies because they can make anyone smile without having to do much at all and my Heavenly Father for blessing me with so so much. Here is a blurb about what I have been up to the last five years...After High School I entered a pageant, yeah, a pageant...kinda weird. I thought it would be interesting to see what they were all about. I entered Miss Washington USA at age 18 and through cracking jokes on stage and missing my mark numerous times I somehow pulled it off and won. It is still a very sureal event in my life. I represented the state of Washington at Miss USA 2002. It was a great year working for the Breast and Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, March of Dimes, Habitat for Humanity and other charity organizations. After my reign…yes I can say I actually reigned at one point in my life...I went to college and studied music for a while. I sang in the choir and traveled a little bit with them and learned how to write music. I then moved back home and continued dating Jordan. We were together almost everyday for 6 months and then I decided to take off to Los Angeles to pursue modeling and acting and hopefully singing. Jordan and I did the long distance thing for almost a year and figured out that that really sucked and so he surprised me by coming to LA, sent me on a fake audition, had a limo pick me up and take me to Malibu and there he proposed to me as the sun set, it couldn’t have been more perfect, well until the security guy busted in on us and made us leave because it was dusk, other than that, it was amazing. I have now been married for almost 3 years come August 28th. I thought I would want a baby by now, but I am pretty sure I can hold off for a couple more years! This summer we moved out and put everything is storage while we lived in Germany and traveled throughout Europe. We have visited Paris, London, Munich, Zurich Switzerland, and Berlin. I enjoy acting as well and although I haven’t had any sort big of break I did just land a national commercial which is something! It is for Johnson and Johnson body lotion. So if you see a cheesy commercial with the ocean and dolphins in the background while the wind is blowing through my hair…that’s me! I love to go dancing with my girlfriends and luckily I have a husband who doesn’t mind girls’ night out! My most recent Hollywood bash was the after Oscar party where we all dressed up and mingled with the stars pretending we were just as important (actually we made fun of most of em')! It was a lot of fun. I also just had my 5 year mini reunion with some of the girls from Miss USA. I can’t believe it has been that long. It was neat to be able to catch up with the girls that were able to make it. I still love singing and right now I am learning the guitar, I think I will always say I am learning the guitar because I am not that great, but it is fun to write songs and sing to myself from time to time. I am also a scrapbooker…I do love photos…taking them, cutting them up and mounting them to make little artistic creations, its just nice to be able to have an organized photo album to record your life. I also love the beach. Growing up in Seattle I didn’t get to experience much sunshine and although we had beaches they aren’t quite the same as California beaches. I love to soak up the sun or rollerblade or stroll through Venice beach and check out all the crazies. There is always something to do here in LA so its keeps me busy. I am very excited to see other parts of the world though and the more I see the more it makes me want to see and experience many more places. I indeed have the travel bug.
