Ivory Skies (May 23rd at The Garage!)

About Me

Musical acts today can generally be defined with three words or less. That's why it's nice to take a step away from the genre cycle and experience a new sound. Minneapolis' Ivory Skies, a band that can be defined as powerful, aggressive, melodic, soothing and content, delivers that refreshing sound that transcends the ordinary. A sound that has attracted an incredibly diverse fan base by incorporating multiple musical styles within each song.

Ivory Skies was born in early October of 2006. Formed from two very different bands, Eric (drums) and Timothy (bass) recruited Danny to fill the position on lead guitar. After months of practice, we had developed a solid sound to call our own. We realized, however, there were many empty parts in our songs. James Singer, formerly of The Aesthetic joined to fill those voids with both vocals and guitar. Check back frequently for updates on our progress, new songs and as many shows as we can possibly book. Thank you all very much!
