This'll take time! I'm only just starting this so will expand it as I can!Things that are important to me are integrity, compassion, authenticity, conciousness, preserving nature and respect for all living things. For me the bottom line is that life is a stepping stone in a journey to enlightenment. Everything else is impermanent...I grew up in the country in Australia and spent my childhood roaming nature. In my early teens we moved to a small city on the beach. I guess I was known for being a bit of a 'deep thinker' and questioned the ordinary ways of this world. I knew there was a better way and my life's journey has been about discovering and living a concious way. For me life's about the spirit, not about money or material gain. Although, I realise the freedoms money allows us or moreso how the lack of it restricts our freedom. In my youth I was anti the system but realise now I have to work with it, even though I don't agree with it, to effect any change. I finished high school with a desire to travel and see the world (with the hope of discovering and unlocking spiritual awareness). University was not on my agenda then. I left Australia a week after I turned 20, already with a deep love for reggae music, with its uplifting vibe and the concious lyrics. Before long my spirit, heart and love of reggae music and culture led me deeply into Carribean and African culture where I found that what was within I unfolded as Rastafarian conciousness. After 8 years I'm now back in Australia. I've always loved nature and clean living so have always worked in the natural health field. I'm now studying Traditional Chinese Medicine which includes herbal medicine, acupuncture and a lot of other traditional healing techniques. I was naturally interested in learning how to wholistically help those suffering both physically, mentally, emotional and spiritually, which is why I chose TCM. Being the only degree available in the natural health field that incorporates energetic awareness in all these areas. It has limitless potential really. I just hope I can handle Australia long enough to finish it here. I miss the Rastafarian conciousness and long to be amongst it again. May it spread and flourish more and more! Keep on bringing the concious reggae music down yonder! I have also been fortunate to meet some amazing Tibetan Buddhist Rinpoche's since being back in Australia and their livity is immense. I am grateful for this blessing... ini continue to soak up the teachings from whatever authentic source they come. Forward iva ... to be continued...
