Michelle Taylor-Buster started singing at an early age in church. Michelle’s training began with the Atlantic City High School Choir, winning many contests, such as “The ACTSO NAACP Talent Search.” Michelle has sung and recorded with many artists such as: Franklin Bubby Fann in “He’ll Bring You Out”, with Bishop Charles Lyles and The New John Howard Gospel Caravan “Live in London”, and also with Juanita Bynum in “Behind the Veil.” Michelle has also completed three European tours with “Queen Esther Marrow and The Harlem Gospel Singers.”
Michelle Taylor-Buster is a powerful and Anointed Gospel Artist; her singing style has been compared to artists such as Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Jennifer Holliday. Mrs. Buster’s theatrical debut began with background vocals in the hit stage production of “Teenage Pregnancy”, as one of the lead singers in “I Wanna Make It To Heaven”, and as the lead singer and supporting actress in the hit dramatic production of “Crack House”, all written by Kevin Neil Cheatham. Mrs. Buster completed two Off-Broadway productions at the John Houseman Theatre on 42nd St. in NYC entitled, “A Pure Gospel Christmas”, and “A Pure Gospel Valentine”, both under the direction of David Tobin and Leslie Dockery. Michelle continues to grow spiritually and musically with continued encouragement and support of her Pastors, Bishop Charles R. Lyles and Dr. Diana Lyles, at Victory First Presbyterian Deliverance Church in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Michelle believes “She can do all things through Christ” (Philippians 4:13). Michelle’s current album “Table for Two” has seen much acclaim and she is currently in the process of writing and producing her second album.
Minister Michelle Taylor-Buster is truly anointed for such a time as this. She is a spirit-filled woman of God, who can not only sing but preach the word of God as well. Michelle is married to her wonderful husband, Mr. Boris Gerad Buster and from this union they have one daughter, Shania Monique Buster.
