I am here for Friends

About Me

I don't really know what to say. I live in Chesterfield, MO, which is basically part of the St. Louis metro area. I have been married about a year and a half to the greatest guy on the planet. He is the only person who can tolerate my mood swings and bring me back to laughing. I am in medical school and have my residency set up for next year in Surgery. Not the field most would have expected I would go into, but it is what I love and where I belong. I am trying to get back in shape since my six month hiatus from running. I am going to be doing a half marathon with my twin sister and friends in April so that ought to do the trick! Official training has started and I would like to think that I am doing quite well. I can comfortably run over four miles at this point, but I still have a long way to go! I have also started the countdown to graduation on May 20. Time couldn't go any slower!

My Interests

Due to my hectic life, my interests have been put on hold. I am beginning to run again. I also love to scrapbook and hang out with friends. I love scratch off lottery tickets; they are such little addictions.

I'd like to meet:

Off hand, I can't think of anyone. Sounds pathetic but I never liked pressure.

Music:

After careful thought on my part, I decided I listen to all types. Music today spans different genres, so I can't really pigeon hole myself to one type. I really listen to just about all types.

Movies:

Serendipity is my new all time favorite. Other favorites include Father of the Bride, the Princess Bride, and Under Siege.

Television:

Well, due to my career path, you can guess my favorite TV shows. Grey's Anatomy, Scrubs, House MD. I also love Desperate Housewives and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.

Books:

All I have time to read right now are textbooks. Since I am looking to buy a house, I have snuck in books on decorating and buying a house.

Heroes:

Definitely my mom
