Born and raised in Little Italy, Vinny Vella aspired to make it to the top and share the special limelight of the stars. In his adult life, he entrepreneued and founded Star Truckers, a company providing transportation to stars namely Madonna, Mariah Carey as well as top fashion models such as Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell. Star Truckers has contracted with NBC, ABC, HBO, and MTV providing vehicles for makeup, print work, feature films and TV shows.He was always surrounded by celebrities watching from behind the cameras. He learned the ins and outs of the movie business. While working on the set Vinny Vella was invited to play as an extra. Working as an extra, he watched and listened as directors directed actors and actresses. While observing, he realized that one day he would be in front of the camera as a principle.Not knowing his destiny, Vinny begins pursuing print work and captures the attention of casting agencies who submit him as a candidate for print work with magazines such as Esquire, German Cosmopolitan, Italian Myster and British GQ modeling sportswear for Robert Stock, Bill Blass tuxedos and suits for Giorgio Armani. Casted as a police officer for a Dockers Levis TV commercial, he finds himself growing in popularity. Doors begin to open for Vinny.Shortly after, he was perused by MTV for two appearances on House of Styles featured with top models. Moving into film, he was then casted in Girl 6, a Spike Lee production as a Driver. He has come a long way since Godfather III as a Pastry Vendor for Paramount Films. While working on his RV’s he thinks only of providing good services and is committed to his business and Family. Little does he know that his big break is just around the corner. A casting call came to the attention of Vinny regarding a film called CASINO. Not knowing much about it, he pursued casting directors trying to get in for an audition. He was unsuccessful until he approached Martin Scorsese’s office directly. Not only was he given and interview but landed a principle role as Artie Piscano. Shortly after, an opportunity presented itself with ESPN which led to 35 lead spots in a television commercial for Monday night baseball produced by Radical Media. A call from Martin Scorsese’s office results in the best print job Vinny could ever ask for with GEORGE Magazine owned by John F. Kennedy Jr. giving him an opportunity to share a spread with Robert Deniero promoting the movie CASINO. The phone rang again and Vinny found himself on New York Undercover, produced by Wolf Films, in a principle role as Ray Savato.Vinny’s dream was happening. The projects following CASINO were, Donnie Brasco with Al Pacino produced by Undercover Pictures. To his disbelief, he was on his way.Lime Vegas (2006) (in production) .... Magnus Montello
