I'm a coal miner's daughter from a rural western Pennsylvania town, and when I say "rural" I mean the closest McDonalds and Wal-Mart is 30 miles away... I'm an only child, but my desire to be the center of attention has diminished with the years. I'm eclectic and wild, somewhat anal but not compulsive, although I do cut the tags out of all my clothing. I refused to talk until I was almost four; my family thought I was a retarded mute. Now if you get me started, pull up a chair it might be awhile. I love animals!... but after 6 years, I had to start eating them again... I don't consider myself witty or humorous, but people say I'm funny so maybe that makes me humble. I love grammar. I'll try anything at least once, but sometimes I feel like I don't have enough hobbies. I'm a PEZ-Head and have collected several hundred. I love the smell of glossy new textbook pages as well as gasoline (I know, that's bad...) and Elmer's glue. My 1st grade art teacher made me use gluesticks because she caught me lightly squeezing the Elmer's bottle with the orange tip up my nose.
Music is my passion. I don't play nearly as much as I used to, but my job keeps me surrounded with music and that's exactly what I've always wanted. I'm a people person. I like talking to strangers on public transportation and while waiting in lines. I'm a city girl and pretty amazing at navigating through crowds, not to mention I'm able to take off my jacket while keeping my super-mario pace and carrying a number of bags & boiling-hot coffee without spilling one drop. I don't wait for the little walking man to illuminate before crossing intersections; if there are no cars, go already! I love to travel. Thanks to my father's job I'm an a bit of an airline brat. Currently, I'm overly enthusiastic about not having to work a 9-5 job. I'm not exactly sure where my career is headed, but I'm ambitious as hell so I'm not too worried. To call me extreme is a bit of an understatement. I love planning ahead but make quick decisions and make things happen within a moment's notice. If I want something, I get it. If I don't, I won't look back...
