When I was young my mother would takes us to the beach at least twice a week. My three brothers and I would build sand forts then pack sand balls to throw as close as allowed to each others faces. Then, there was time out where we sat in the hot sun and sunscreen melted into our eyes. This is the beach where we collected seaweed in surf and brought them to the shore to shake out the small mino fishes and shrimp. And, I remember the water that changed its colours from dark blue to turquoise. This was our season. I live in Tallahassee almost finishing college. I have enough to be happy and enough to be fortunate. Its been the regular with circumstancial events; dog,best friends, boyfriend...all the common pleasantries seem to be there. Well, where did you grow?
