MOULT. AN IDEA. A PHILOSOPHY. A VISION.MOULT are Londons own experimental, psychedelic electronica collective. Taking influence from bands such as Sigur Ros, Radiohead, CSS, Massive Attack & Tool, MOULT have developed a sound which takes listeners on a journey through sonic landscapes of pure panoramic beauty.
The project came to life through founding members Francesco Fonte & Tomo. Originally a studio based vision, they quickly realised that the music would take itself to a whole new level within a live environment. It is with this in mind that they recruited the experience of DS on bass, a stalwart of the Nottingham music scene & 2MG, a Japanese electronica experimentalist on percussion.To overlap with the expansion, the band are currently developing further material for their first, as yet untitled, EP as well as building their following on the live circuit which will see them performing in venues such as The Barfly & The Social in London as well as a planned UK tour in September/October.MOULT are now ready to step up to the next echelon and blur the lines of possibility further with an EP & live show that will give many an insight into the belief and vision that the band possess’. With a solid group of musicians, a tormenting live reputation, and a consistently improving catalogue of material, MOULT are set to grow into a band that will move and awaken the senses of a generation.
