Many people in Ajax knows the name "Stacks", but he has many names. You may know him as YaBoyy Stacks, Lil' Ace, Lil' J, and of course Jahmal. The world didn't know what was going to hit them on August 18, 1992 when Jahmal Anthony Newman-Grant was born at Scarbrough General Hospital. Raised in Scarbrough in Gilder, Jahmal was brought up around his older brother Amiel Grant, his mother Joan Grant and his father Richard Newman. Inspired by the hip-hop from the 1990's, he grabbed a pen and paper and started writing at the age of 9 years old, and would occasionally practice freestyling with his cousins "Jay Figga" and "No Rhymes". Moved to Ajax when he turned 10 years old, he released 4 mixtapes to date and will proceed to keep bringing heat to Durham, Toronto, and the rest of the world. ..
