Lancaster's Yorkshire House has long been an important part of the local music and arts scene, hosting band nights, literary events, a monthly quiz night, as well as anything else new and exciting. Upstairs has a capacity of 100, and includes one of the best lighting and P.A. systems in town, and more importantly, a resident soundperson who knows how to use them!Subhumans, Send More Paramedics, Angelica, Dr and The Crippens, The Selector, Fireapple Red, Jenniferever, Jessie James, Atavist, Ambrose Tompkins, MPE band, UK Subs, Goldblade and Tarantula AD are to name but a few of the many bands that pass through its doors.Oh yes! The Yorkshire House sells a wide range of lagers, ciders and REAL ales!!!!
