Well, what can I say. We are five laid back Swedes from down north, and we like it heavy. Do you?
We have played together since mid 2003, and things just turn out fine. We do what we do, so we have no wishes to try to sound like someone else. We have all different influences, which contribute to a wide range style of music, even if the roots remain in the hard and heavy.
We are very down to earth and we believe that this is the way to keep it. Everything begins with two bare hands and the will to create. None above the other. The tracks we´ve got here, is yours to keep. Enjoy :)

We are making pre-recordings of our new material at the moment. We are exploring a new taylor made sound to fit our music. "Bag of Bones" is a sneaky peaky of our future sound, yet not at it´s full capacity. Right now we stand at an experimental state of dynamics. "Tommi Karppanen is turning his mind inside out this moment, but the results is well worth waiting for. Recordings will hopefully be done before June.

Sorry for the delay. Here it finally is, our very first review.
Sweden Rock Magazine April/May 2007:
"GOD-AWFUL MACHINE from Bollnäs
definitly likes to be a bit secretive. And it might seem a bit unnecessary,
when they have absolutely nothing to be a shame of.
The four tracks on this promo definitly keeps a class high above average and they have an interresting singer in Anders Rytkönen, who adds an refreshing southern touch to the bands hard rock. They are at their best in "Steady Home" who smells FREE long way. Otherwise think: BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, think CORROSION OF CONFORMITY and you
get a small hunch on what branch GOD-AWFUL MACHINE likes to hang out. They look cool, but I would rather have a few lines of biography than four pictures. Their homepage www.godawfulmachine.com is under construction and the bands page on Myspace have same absence of content."
Well, our homepage is under re-construction and we still look cool.
New tracks are in production. Hopefully a brand new bunch of trax will be available this fall.
Best regards God-Awful Machine
