Subject Sine aka:Matt Lamberton (DJ Lambee) & Gary Lewis (DJ Styla): DJ Lambee - 19yrs old, born and grew up in Folkestone, Kent. He began mixing at the age of 13 when he was introduced to his brothers Numarks. From there he knew he wanted to be a professional dj and after completing a 2-year BTEC Diploma Course in Music Technology at Canterbury College. After a gap year he decided to further his edjucation in Music by enrolling on a Music Technology Specialist Degree course at TVU London. He has DJ'd at a number of local venues in Kent such as the M20 Music Empire in Ashford, Lydd Water Sports, Harp Club and the Music rooms;DJ Styla - 21yrs old, born in Barnet, grew up in Borehamwood. His interest in music began at an early age when he was introduced to brothers Technics. At the age of 15 he began playing out at local venues, including "Bar Central", Batchwood Nightclub, and a weekly event @ Bwood Footy Club and on Manic FM. He began sequencing at the age of 10 using basic software such as EJAY & Cakewalk Xpress before moving onto Logic Platinum 5.5, Reason & Wavelab.
Wanting to further his edjucation he completed a 2-year BTEC Diploma course in Music Tech at Oaklands College Welwyn. After a gap year he enrolled on a Music Technology Specialist Degree at TVU, London.Subject Sine came about after they were introduced at a Freshers party in September 06. They were beginning their first year at Thames Valley University (London College of Music) and it turned out they were both on the same course and in the same class of a Music Technology Degree Course. The coincidence furthered when they realised their interests and ambitions were pretty indentical. Both of them growing up as dj's in their local towns Folkestone (Matt) and Borehamwood (Gary). Matt's been touching on production for the last 3 years but only just starting to take it seriously. Meeting Gary was a kick up the arse for Matt's production, as he is allways locked in his bedroom studio working on one tune or another. Create or get your
