Árran er et blad og en blogg om samisk kultur, på engelsk. Kommenterer på myspace kan skrives på norsk, svensk, finsk, samisk, eller selvfølgelig engelsk.
Árran is the quarterly publication of the Sami Siida of North America and Lappmarklag, by and for North American Sami. Editor is Arden Johnson, and blog editor is Casey Meshbesher. Now in its 13th year and 49th issue, Árran contains articles and poetry contributed by Sami in North America and Sápmi. Our archive contains a selection of full articles and excerpts from past issues.Árran also covers North American Sami news and happenings, and typically several pages of current news from Sápmi. Stay tuned to the blog for some of the news items and for announcements of events that occur between issues, or just little extras. The bulk of our news is in the pages of Árran, as these take time to translate and so are offered mainly to subscribers. We also use the blog to announce any website updates and for sneak peeks at the next issue of Árran. www.arran.us
