It all started at his cousins house (Darren B), who was a garage/jungle mc at the time EMG was more into hip hop.
Darren put on a So Solid tune, EMG thought he could do better. Always secrectly writing, he decided it was time to show people. Everyone in the house went mad! From that response he has never looked back.
To cut a long story short EMG eventually joined the Venom Cru (VMP) as a solo artist, there he linked up and joined with The Disturbed Man Dem who were also a crew within the VMP. Due to in-house disagreements Disturbed Man Dem left amicably.
As a result of EMG joining Disturbed Man Dem they have been on most major underground pirate radio stations Heat FM, Déjà Vu, Rinse FM, Axe Fm, Manic FM, Raw Blaze, Y2k and more. The First North London crew to be invited to BBC 1XTRA Sessions with Richie Vibe Vee, performed overseas (Amsterdam), been interviewed by RWD Magazine, EMG has personally performed at the 51st Ghana Independence Day @ Stratford Rex and again @ the Channel U 5th Birthday Bash.
EMG was also on the original Stand By You song by Darren B before being taken off as a result of management issues. (That’s another story).
EMG and his crew have been through so much he could write a book. The fights, stabbings, clashings, situations where he will be on air and someone will knock on the door knowing it could be anyone. Police, other crews that want beef, anybody. 90% of the time the stations were not in his area.
EMG still feels he or his crew have not got the recognition they deserve. EMG no longer considers himself a mc as he’s been there and done that. He is much more of an artist now as his single shows. He has a free mixtape (I’m bored Vol 1) for people to download (still looking for a suitable website), as preperation for the main mixtape (A Day In The Life Of …EMG DA ADMINISTRATOR). Aswell as a group project and more collaborations in the future with Darren B and Scott Whitman, a Music Producer who has worked with the likes of Darren B, Dane Bowers, Loick Essien to name a few.
EMG has a big musical catalogue and is already working on his next single.
