About Me

my name is MESSO MESSO i was born in CONGO( ZAIRE), about ten years old i began to sing with my parents at church,i learned to play guitar and KISANZI, LIKEMBE, SANZA or MBIRA. I travelled to KINSHASA just after high school to study at national uniersity of congo, there i met many musicians and play with many small bands while studing . The country was down, i decided to travel to europe ,i arrived in France where i live. Band Members: I enjoy to work in small band(from solo to quintet ) my new group is a trio and quartet with : lionel CHARASSE(piano) sega SECK(percussions) marc BALIU (basse) and myself guitar ,voice and thumb piano .
Influences: african roots music, all traditinal music,black music
Sounds Like: nothing you ear before, please listen and make your own opinion about it, i hope you will like, i am working to make my own style but as you know it is a hard way .
