SIMPLE P

Peter begins his story with a passion for music. From the age of 8 he started incorperating it into his life. He began to emerse himself in what is now his focus, craft, self expression. Peter was influenced heavily by his father in terms of musical ability. His father pressed hard on him to go further with classical piano training, but at that point Peter wanted to create his own material, mold his own sculpture. Hip hop became an essential part his life at 11 around the same time when the harsh realities of life started to set in. Along with this, came positive direction. At 13 Peter wanted to be a producer. His friends all rapped, and freestyled, he was more interested in the other aspects of a song; the concept, direction. He bought an mpc 1000 later that year. He and 4 others formed the group formely known as Fifth Season less then 2 years later. They released 3 tracks titled: “One way or another” “listen” and “The Crow.” About 1 year later Peter met Lameck through DJ Efsharp. P produced a track titled “hold on” featuring lameck later that year. A little while later P met up with Rapscalion(4 Directions), another toronto mc. He introduced P to KDB (Poorman militia, Crooks of da round table) and the three did a track titled “time of need” which will be released on P’s album next year. P and rapscalion also did a track titled “the Factory” which will be released on Rapscalion’s next project. Kdb and Peter are releasing an ep next year which is currently untitled. Peter is also featured on the mix cd “Crossfire” including the tracks “beyond the winds” and “aint loosin no sleep.” Which was released in 2007. He is also featured on KDB’s album titled “Mega Tower City.” In early 2006 Peter and Solomon Childs (Theodore unit, Killa beez) recorded the track titled “Nightmares and Dreams” which also featured KDB. Around the same time period, Peter linked with Tellavizion (Blurred Insight). The two began creating concepts and ideas and months later P went to Ny to record the first track, titled “The Sun on Slaves.” This was late 2006. A year later they recorded a second track, Titled “too much of life.” Which are both featured on the EP titled “vigilante monk.” Peter and Tellavizion are currently working on his full length LP, along side Producers/engineers Sal and Insight (blueartsmedia.com) P also formed a un-official production team including production from: Insight, Bowes, and Ledge. They currently have unreleased material that is still in the works. In 2008 Peter met Sporadic (camp X) and recorded the track titled “Private Letter” which is currently unreleased. They later on released another track titled “Triple Threat” which also features Sweats (TimeWasted). That is being released on sporadic’s album titled “walk the line” which will be available late 2009. Peter and Sweats are also working on an EP which is untitled but currently have the tracks “Mind over Matter” and “trust no one” aswell as other material. That will be released 2010. In early 2009 P did a track titled “Gunz oil and Drugz” featuring Hell Razah (Sunz of Man). Which will be released on P’s album, next year. Razah ended up recording the track in Toronto, and brought Shabazz (Sunz of Man, T.H.U.G Angelz) who ended up recording a track aswell, titled “Metal Fence” which is also on P’s Debut album. In that same time frame the three discussed doing a full length album, and are currently working on the project right now. The Album is titled “The NAU” and will be released late 2009 early 2010. Peter is also working with Kaotny (Poorman militia) and have released the tracks titled “Blind Faith” and “cause and effect.” More to add...
