About Me

My career started right after college with an unanticipated job offer from Columbia University. Before I knew it, I was traveling around the U.S. and Canada talking to high school students about how to get into college, and I was loving every minute of it. It's so cool to meet students who are totally confused about the process of applying to college, where they want to go and how to get there, and then to be able to help them out in a tangible way. That's what I've been doing...for a long time now. :) And I'm really excited about the opportunity I have to reach out to a new audience of students through my new book Seventeen's Guide to Getting Into College .
