Very happily married to my beautiful wife with whom I have two great kids. We live in a mansion (it would be anywhere else) just south of Salt Lake City (ok, it's a double wide).
Born in Utah, raised in California, I am very fortunate to have been blessed with such a great family, good friends, a sense of purpose, and a little talent to boot!
I've played bass for more years that I wish to count, even with a 10 year hiatus (in which I didn't take my bass out of it's case). While living in Los Angeles, I played bass for the one of the most recognized fusion groups to come out of the LA scene, Karizma, featuring David Garfield, Michael Landau, Vinnie Colaiuta and Steve Tavaligone. Karizma lists some of the biggest names in jazz as it's alumni members - and me (thank you David Garfield). I can be found sharing some album credits with the likes of Danny Kortchmar, Simon Phillips, Vinnie Colaiuta and my new found schoolmate and friend Brandon Fields. I consider my self lucky to remain in touch with many of my old friends (that means you too Luke).
My main gig is now with Kalai, an amazing singer/songwriter/guitarist who's filled with raw talent. We've performed in smaller venues all over the west including the House of Blues. Recently we performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live where we seriously intimidated his second rate band (yea right). Kalai really managed to bring me 'out of retirement' and has put the joy back into music for me. Check him out on his myspace page ( RIGHT HERE ).
