A 26 year old B-Girl of hip-hop here in the Minneapolis community for about 9, 10 years. Seoul has been Breakdancing on and off for 10 years and has been doing choreography for 5, 6 years. Striving as much as possible to improve on the art of her movement Seoul can be seen all over Minneapolis catching that perfect beat on the dance floor. She has also been know to get down with The Rhythm Queenz a local B-Girl Breaken Crew, The Collective a Minneapolis dance Company, and many others. Nubia, Pangea World Theater, The Walker Art Center, Galaxy, Roy Wilkins Center for the Arts and many more are some of the programs Seoul has worked with. Some of Seoul’s influences are Ivy Morrison, a local dancer/choreographer, Dancin Dave, a local popper and locker, Slim aka Phil, who was one of her first mentors when Seoul got into the breakin scene, Daylight aka Damian who was a dance partner for 2 to 3 years, MadFresh aka Madeline who has always given Seoul inspiration in her choreography today as well as other MPLS dancers, and all of the B-Boys and B-Girls (Emajyn, StepChild, MonaLisa, Monarch, new up n coming B-Girls ect.) who challenge her every time she step into the cipher with there originality and style. “Never go out to impress the crowd, Always go out to Fa-Ness the crowd†A saying that was said to me and I try to uphold it with every freestyle and performance I do.ONE LUV
