Jenna was created in February 2005 and brought together 4 musicians from different musical backgrounds (members from Duke, Labs and Feeding). Mike (guitar/vocals), Nicholas (guitar), Dub (bass guitar/vocals) and Steve (drums/vocals) progress in an emo/post-hardcore style in the likes of Yage, The Get Up Kids and Refused.
The band expresses various emotions through its songs. The objective is to play at the same time a powerful but yet melodic music.
Without pretension, Jenna s Ep, out on Humaniti Records, tries to replicate the band s onstage intensity. The diverse experiences of the members bring a touch of freshness to the band, which allows to explore various musical areas.
With a different musical background to each member, influences are diverse and not similar. However, some bands bring them together, in the vein of Jimmy Eat World, Yage, Refused, Hot Water Music, Thursday, Biffy Clyro or Samiam.
The band wishes to benefit from this CD so to perform as much as possible and to meet more people that are passionate. Jenna made their debut by playing with bands such as Mel Team Plugs, Down To Earth, Courtesy Blush, Grizzly Twister, Uneven, Deckard, Blindsight, Gravity Slaves, Devon Milles, General Lee...
