The Midnight Howlers was thought of in January of 2006 by Jake, Nick, and our friend Mark. The idea was to make a rock-a-billy band that writes horror stories and turns them to song. We sat around day and night watching horror classics old and new to get ideas for our first story. At first the band started strong but after a couple of months it died down, we just couldnt find the right guys to fill the band. It was'nt till July of that year that we asked and old friend Jared to come play drums for us. We sat around drinking Miller High-Life and thinking of ideas for songs, ideas came and went and finally we realized we needed one more thing still. A lead guitarist. In September Nick and Jared ran into an old friend of theirs from High-School, that fall Chris joined the band, we had found our lead guitarist. After Chris joined we started writing songs immediatly. New ideas sprang to life, old ideas were changed. We finished writing our first cd in April of 07,and started recording a demo in May of 07, but it wasnt untill October of that same year till we started to record the actual album. Currently we are still recording. The album is our creation come to life, a mix of rock-a-billy, psycho-billy and good ole rock'n'roll. It tells the story of Johnny Black, a young man not like you or I. Johnny's tale takes you down a road of love, hate, sin and triumph, leading you to a conclusion of what is good or evil.TMH will be rocking for quite some time, so just sit back, relax, enjoy a cold brew or a nice glass of wine and let the horror begin.........
