Primary Blends Presents: Vinyl Elimination 2008
A New Mexico DJ Mix Competition
To enter:
Submit a 30 minute LIVE mix of any musical genre by June 6th, 2008. Mixes will be judged and DJs will be selected to spin on June 20th at The Agency in downtown Albuquerque, NM. Time slots will be selected randomly. DJs will then be judged on their LIVE mixing capabilities. Our panel of judges will determine who will move on to the finals on July 18th to open for our special guest
DJ ELEMENT and compete for the grand prize of $500.

Rules:
DJs must reside within the state of New Mexico.
DJs can mix music from any genre. The mix must be achieved using vinyl turntables and/or a vinyl emulator such as Serato Scratch Live.
DJs must be able to mix LIVE on June 20th and July 18th between the hours of 8pm-3am. *Any DJ that does not show up for his timeslot will be disqualified.
DJs can be any age.
Judging:
Mixes & Live Performances will be judged base on four categories.
- Technical Skill
- Music Selection
- Style
- Crowd Participation (LIVE performance)
