Hey, what it do MYSPACE!!!! It's ya boy D.J. Twist!!! This here is my music/business page, so I won't be gettin to personal here. You can go to my personal page for that. I can give sort of a BIO, so here it goes. I'm a 19 year old dj. I was born and raised in ST. Louis, Mo, where I started djing @ the age of 14, thanks to my man D.J. Flex. Over that next year, I went through training in this art of mixing and turntablism. D.J. Flex, along with some other djs helped in trying to get me performing in front of crowds. In early 2003, while still on the amateur level, I started getting my own shows and venues with the support of my dj squad that took me in. With only a year + in the game and at the age of 16, I did everything from school dances in the daytime @ my own school, to night clubs an d parties in the hours after school. I also began to establish connections in the St. Louis area. I 2004, I took the first half off from djing to finish school early in order to put more time into business. In May of 2004, I landed an internship with Radio One Broadcasting, working in the promotions and programming departments of 95.5fm. I August of 04, after months of secretly gaining more connections and dropping mixes on the side, an event came up with the station where the dj they had previously booked, dropped out a day before the show. A dj, who knew about me before I got to the station, put in a word for me and they gave me a shot to do it. From that point on I started getting shows every weekend in the STL area. In May 2005, I flipped everything and announced to everyone that I signed up to enlist in the U.S. Air Force. After gettin out the last of my shows, I left for Basic Training in November 2005. Now, more than a year later, I finally have the time and resources to get back into djing. Now that I'm in Hampton, Virginia, I'm out to start over and do it again, and even bigger than before!!! So if you need a D.J. and you're in the Hampton Roads area, you need to get @ me!!!
I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!
