About Me

Magnus Ekwall started out as a guitarist in a punk rock band called Suicide. He began his vocalist career in the early 80’s in Stonehenge, more of a hard rock act.

In the beginning of the 90’s he joined what was going to be The Quill. They released their debut album in -95 and followed it up in -99 with the album "Silver Haze". They signed for SPV/Steamhammer and released "Voodoo Caravan" and later "Hooray! It’s a Deathtrip".

In 2006 they released their fifth album "In Triumph".

Magnus also did vocals on the Ayreon album "The Human Equation" which was released in 2004.
