A born reggae artist otherwise known as Peter Braimbridge of Kingston Jamaica, growing up in Trench Town at the age of ten years old. He then decided to leave for Mandeville with his parents in the 1980's where he attended the Mandeville All-age School at the age of fourteen years old; he started out at Bellfield Secondary which is now a Comprehensive High School.
While in school Kettle usually participates in concerts, and stage shows that would occasionally occur at school, of course he would take part in them and perform. because that was what he admired doing growing up as a youth. The students and his friends would applaud and be merry at his performance, people would say "yu have talent bwoy"; you should start a career in singing son; and of course he took those words seriously.After school years with a positive mind and a focused heart Kettle started for his career, where he would visit dances and deejay on sounds. He first deejayed on some sounds called Crystal Rock, Black Starliner, and Wha Dat with various artistes like: Uton Green, Bimbo known as Garnet Silk, Tony Flasher, Tony Rebel, and General Degree. His Proformed with some other known artistes working together, after been exposed Kettle wanted more in the music to push to a point and get to a level for himself.
He then left Mandeville where he spent most of his time of his childhood growing up, He leave Mandeville to Kingston in 1996 to start more recording on his songs, he hanged out at Cave Man Studio and Sound System for a while leaving their for Penthouse where he met with the Trench Town Rock Promotion from there he recorded his first song titled "Bigger Problem Pon The Bigger Heads Dem".and also recorded for JR Records (junior Reid Promotion)Releasing that single was a great track for him. Presently Jah Kettle is now recording various songs for different producers, His father known as Oscar Braimbridge, he was known as a musician in the Lord Jellico's Band in the early 60's. He toured with the band to England, America, Peru, and other countries playing ska. Oscar Braimbridge was the drummer in the band. Entertainer Jah Kettle continued his music doing reggae. He recently performs on various stage shows such as "Dem a Go Tired Fi See Wi Face at James Bond Beach, Oracabessa, Bob Marley Birthday Bash February 8, 2003, Magnum Sting the Greatest One Night Show on Earth 26 December 2003, in Portmore, Black History 26 February 2005 in St. Elizabeth and the Garnet Silk Birthday Bash in Mandeville. Jah kettle, then went on a carribean tour In 2007, promoting his new album, "Hail Life With Love" in Trinidad and Tobbago; he also perfomed at various stage shows like the Red, gold and Green concert at Guaracara Park, House of Rastafari at Tuna-puna, and at the dezend night club.Entertainer Jah Kettle continues to further his career in music and just coming off a canadian tour, Proformed at Rasta Fest,Jane Finch Mall Taronto,Canada,He Proformed at St .East ,Hamilton Hall and the Silencing of the Gun Rally Concert at Queens Park Taronto.
