"Story Of Rob" was founded during October 2005 in Berlin when Thilan Stiller (lead guitar), Robert Blödorn (rhythm guitar) and Maurice and Philipp Stenzel (bass guitar and drums) came together and started playing music in a public utility once a week. Very soon the band had it's own practising space in the basement of Philipp and Maurice. With Max Bellinghausen the first singer joined the group about a month later but had to leave the band again after only a few weeks. In January 2006 Felix Krauth joined the band as new lead singer.
After a few weeks of practising the band started to write own material and so it happened that on the first weekend in April 2006 the first GIG took place in the basement in front of a selected audience.
Two months later, during the unforgetable 2006 World Cup match between Germany and Sweden (2:0 IHR SEID NUR EIN MÖBELLIEFERANT SCHA LALA LALA...) the band played the first public show performing at the summer festival of JFH Schottenburg.
A very special show took place in October as the band celebrated it's 1rst birthday. A show that no-one will forget. Concerning sound and equipment definately the best one so far.
In November the band finally found it's way to the studio where the first own songs were recorded.
Coming back to the stage with new material and energy the next GIG was sold out!
At the moment the band is working on their first studio album which is going to be released in summer 2007.
