688 Skatepark is located in Clearwater Fl @ 6140 Ulmerton Rd. 33760 in Clearwater, FL. 688 is Florida’s largest indoor Skatepark 35,000 sq ft of Amazing Skateboarding, BMX and Inline terrain. The park is set up for all ages and skill levels from Beginner to advanced Skaters. We've got it all here at 688 Skatepark. In the beginners/intermediate course alone a 24ft wide mini ramp 4 ft tall with a variety of different size extensions and a sick wall ride for all you gnarly dudes, that’s not all there’s course has it all Euro gap w/ a flat bar followed by a quarter pipe and ledges going down each side. To get speed for the euro gap there is a 6 ft tall roll in. Next to the roll in there is a 24 foot wide bank and quarter pipe section to the left, to the right of the roll in there is a 40 ft wide section of quarter pipe
ranging from 4 ft to 5 ft. In the middle section there are several rails , Ledges flat bars and side walk step up. to the left of the middle section there is a 8 ft long wedge to wedge with a flat bar. On the opposite side of the quarter pipe section there is a 40 ft wide bank section with different size banks.
All right we are just getting started In between the Beginner/ Intermediate sections we have the sickest Mini Ramp in the State of Florida a 40 ft wide Mini ramp 6 ft tall w/ 2 7 ft extensions Sick. to the right side of the Ramp we have the only foam pit in Florida for all you sick stunt men to try you trick before you take it to the real deal. to the left of the ramp we have one of the only real 11 stair hand rails inside a skatepark yes with steps...
Ok you’ve had enough yet? well we are not finished . The coolest thing about 688 Skatepark is that all aspects of the park connect to each other so you can literally skate every thing with out pushing. You can blast out of the 6 ft mini ram and roll right into the advanced course.
After you roll out of the Mini Ramp Go down the double roll in which has a 24 ft long ledge going down the side and in the center a 24 ft long kinked rail and a 24 ft long round straight rail. roll down the double roll in and hit the pyramid with a flat rail and a V ledge on one side. Followed by the Big Euro with a sick flat bar and a wedge to wedge on top and a ledge on the right hand side. Going down the euro is something we call the widow maker its a rail that’s super gnarly you’ve got to see it for your self. On top of the euro there is a 6 ft tall quarter pipe which connects to a 12 ft vert wall 32 ft wide. The vert wall goes to a pyramid and a sick box jump. To the right of vert wall there is a 12 ft roll in and a 10 ft quarter and 8 ft quarter , followed by a smaller jump and a pyramid. After you go down the 12 ft roll in and hit the jump you go to the Middle section where you can hit the volcano or the gap to rail or the double set with a rail and hubbas going down each side. Followed by a seven foot bowl corner and a sub box. This description doesn’t do the park justice Check out the photos.
The Pro Shop
We have on of the largest skateshops in Pinellas County. With over 10 decks on the wall, Trucks, wheels , Hardware, Bearings and Accessories from All the Major companies. Also we have a ton of Shoes and clothing Hats and accessories. Shoes by Adio, Ipath, Osiris, Circa, Globe, Vox and more.......
The concession
We have a 2,000 square foot concession / stage area for food drinks and yes we have live bands. This area has AC and also has a big screen TV. This area is also used for Birthday parties so come have your party here......
Music Venue
688 Skatepark is also a music venue. We have a ton of shows here on a weekly basis local touring and National acts. So come rock out and book you show here.
Private Party Room
We have a dirty upstairs private party room . Rent is out for your B-day. TV Playstation and a great view of the park....... Also we do rent out the entire park for private parties..........
