Just a laid back cat who knows what he's made of but never forgetting I'll never completely be the man I wanna be so always trying to fix myself so I can be the kinda man I need to be. Honor & chivalry is a big part of me, still holding doors n pulling out chairs. Love to love, prefer peace although I've acquired a lot of scars along the way. Wild at heart & a restless Spirit but someday soon hope to walk side by side with the one that thrills my soul.Basically someone close to me awhile back that I would have spent my life with if I were a better man turned me onto what I realized I was needing in my life at some point & now it seems to be etched in my soul. We loved strong & she helped me to be a better man that I desire, at least on the inside...This is kinda silly but this is who I am, what I would hope for & how I'd put it all together....Courage's & brave & believe in humility, strength n dignity to do the right thing. Kind & compassionate & playful n tough, dig candle light kisses but also like it rough. Sometimes gentle other times not, confident & assertive to take what I want. I believe in passion with fire & flame, variety goes along way, just the same. Sometimes predictable, other times not, always loyal to the end when I'm in your spot. Honesty always & able to talk, never leave u guessing n don't like that walk. A lil stubborn I have an ole soul, traditional n practical but not too cold. Proud to show my Honor to u everyday, loving it n feeling it all the way. Sometimes scarred, loves a loosing game, willing to try again, never in vain. Not too hard but not too soft, strong as an oak but soft as moss. Simple on the outside but complex in the middle, just the right ingredients not a riddle. It turns me on to know u got my back, when were solid to the core & friendships a matter of fact. Don't mind a challenge but never keepin score, when she's not afraid to take my hand, make love not war. Loyalty n Honesty always fore sure, strong enough to trust, truth is the cure. I am usually very protective of anyone close to me & would also stand right beside anyone in a righteous battle & lay down my blood for them as well. My Brother has given me the speech of choosing my battles wisely many times. I am very traditional in many ways especially times of old although I am very open minded as well. I have much respect for my Elders for they have much to offer. I'm white, Scottish, Irish & some Native mix but race has no boundaries in my eyes. More important where your heart is rather than what your eyes see. The name Standingbear is a spiritual gift given to me in a dream a long time ago as two warriors on horseback came to me & in the middle was a Bear, he stood to his hind legs showing no aggression & stayed with me as the warriors rode away. Bear & I didn't seem to be such friends in the beginning as he probably didn't trust me & I guess I had to earn his respect, for many times before in dreams he came to me not so nice. I have slept with bear & cubs in there den a few times now in my dreams so ... guess I am welcome. I have a few power animals - Bear (who guides me in troubled times with his logic & understanding & providing me courage to do what is right), Deer (for the beauty they remind me of), Crow (for providing me insight into turning events), Horse (for reminding me to be free), Buffalo (reminding me that Wakan Tanka like Tatanka has given all the abundance that is needed & has always reminded me that giving is more important than to receive), Owl (for opening my eyes & heart to the ways of old at a young age), Hawk (helping me with his keen sight to understand what I may not see now) & Coyote (helping me to stay cautious). I became very interested in old ways at an early age & feel that I was drawn to these ways of truth for a reason, some obvious, some probably not yet known. I do know however that I have never had a more deep connected kinship in anything else in my life. feels like I should be from another time n place or at least a different generation of past. I pray that my Creator will always embrace me & guide me through dreams & provide me with new experiences, for I have been given many blessed encounters with my animal friends in the waking world & dreaming world in the past & I will always hold that close like a dear friend.
