A songwriter originally from the little town of Clyde, Kansas, I moved to Nashville a few years ago to experience the business end of songwriting and publishing. Its been almost three years now and through affiliations with NSAI and other great writers in this town, I don't know that I'm any closer to writing a hit song, but I have definitely learned some valuable lessons about the music industry.
