I am very involved in the Vietnamese Community in Orange County. I have many things that I want to accomplish in this fight for a better VN. As you guys know of the current conditions and situations in Vietnam today. There are absolutely no human rights. Over 80 million Vietnamese are living under an unjustice and corrupted communist government. As a Vietnamese American, my responsibility is to speak up for my people in Vietnam whose freedom of speech has been taken away by the communist party. As long as I'm still alive, I will continue to fight for freedom, democracy and human rights. No matter how long or how hard it takes, I will never give up because this is my dream, my passion and my future; to see a free and better VN...because Viet Nam is where my heart truly belong :)
To those of you who think that it's a waste of time to attend protests. I can ASSURE you, that it ISN'T. Why? Our point of being there is to raise awareness, encourage and call out the Vietnamese youths to stand along side may nguoi lon who've risked everything so that we could have the freedoms, and opportunities we currently have here in the U.S. Second, if what we the young demonstrator's are doing isn't creating awareness, then why have we been getting press? And why have the viet gians in the cong dong been trying to discourage our participation? The answer to that is, need I remind you, there are very many CS nam vung that we don't even know of yet. Of which their main goal is to discourage any participants whom they feel can threaten nha cam quyen CS in VN by our movement here in the states. We the youth, may be the key role to what may seem like an endless fight to liberate the people of VietNam. We have to stand up and get as many young Vietnamese to care about our country and aware of the current state the CS of VietNam has brought our country to. When attending these protest, we should voice our thoughts. If one young person gets inspired every time we do so, we've accomplished our mission.
