Life is about change..sometimes beautiful, sometimes painful..most of the time both

About Me

I am a 51 year old black female, mother of 4 (3sons,1 daughter). I love anything to do with computers, reading, music, and living life to the fullest. My grandson is my heart and my husband is my ying.My original hometown is Forrest City,Ark and birthplace is St. Louis, Mo. Life in Tampa is good and the weather is excellent.I worked for McDonald's for a whole lot of years and now I'm working on a self employed career. Computers are my love and I took a course in computer repair(A+ certification). I live in the NorthBlvd Homes(West Tampa Projects!)and it is a concrete jungle. There's a lot of drugs and other things here and I hate to see so many of my brothers and sister suffer with their addicitons but, then there are good people here too.Trying to survive, trying to live and trying not to die.

My Interests

Computers, animation, and sexy men.I completed a course in computer repair A+ certification.I love anything to do with computers and computer graphics.I have loved cartoons since I was a child.I guess I'll never grow out of it.My love for a sexy man is international. Young or old, they all are fine to me. To appreciate a good man is rare with the younger generation. U girls better start getting some sense and stop playing.

I'd like to meet:

God,Jesus,Denzel,Nelson Mandela,Maya Angelou,Bill Gates,Damon Albarn,Gorillaz,Jamie Hewlitt.

Music:

Rihanna Umbrella Ft Jay-Z Music Videos With Lyrics And CodesStuck in the 80's, 70's funk and up to date music.I have loved hip hop and rap every since the first time I heard "Rapper Delight".My love for music is so stong and pure. My days as a band member at my high school(Hillsbourgh High Class of 73) were some of the best days of my life.I inspired to be a DJ during the early days of rap and I did a few dances for the local kids that lived in the Central Park projects in Tampa. My love for music will always be with me. Today's music has evolved by leaps and bounds and I love every minute of it.Mos Def and Busta Rhymes keep my body rocking with that wicked beat and Chris Brown is the future of R&B. Gotta Love Um!!!! My favs are Gorillaz,Kraftwerk and Yellow Magic Orch a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank" a Mos Def - Ghetto Rock

Television:

The Simpsons,South Park and The Young and The Restless. I am a diehard Simpson's fan and will be going to see the movie when it comes out in November.I mostly like to watch old cowboy movies on AMC or PLEX and a lot of comedy shows( Dave Chappalle is a crazy bitch!)South Park and Drawn Together are just nasty as hell, but thats entertainment.

Books:

"Magic Street" by Orson Scott Card and "Cell" by Steven King When I read Cell,it took me 3 months to finish because it scared the hell out of me.I have read many Steven King books, but this one hit a little to close to home. The things that happened in this story could occur and I pray that it never does. Magic Street is a twist Shakespere's A Midnite Summers Dream, but as a black version. Mac Street is the main character and quite an amazing young man.The end made me cry alot for him. There's a new book called"Dirty Red" by Vickie M Stringer that is sure to blow U away. I read an excrept of it .. and boy is this book smoking!!I have yet to read 'Rise of the Orge' but all the reviews are good.

Heroes:

Men and Women fighting in Iraq. They are the ones who keep yours and my ass free in this country. My Family are also my heroes. For they have stuck by me in good and bad times and I love them for that. But my biggest hero is my husband, Papa.He has stuck with me and put up with my shit for 20 years. We have been to hell and back, survived the streets and will be together 4ever
