About Me

One word describes me exactly: cognition. I love to learn and am energetic about diversifying my ideas about life, its meaning, origin and future. In my past I have endeavored to find out more about myself through philosophy by reading the works of individuals like Friedrich Nietzsche and Socrates. It was sufficient in giving me perpetual questions, and more or less perplexing the idea that I could find an answer or answers. Life, I believe, is not about answers, but about questions. We are a mystery living inside a labyrinth generally referred to as God. Though I appreciate what I've read I have moved on to a more direct study of culture by taking closer looks at the mythology of Ancient Greece. My ideal plan is to return to acadamia and emerge with a wider breadth of understanding, and then taking my education to another step in my life. Where that is, I can't say, but I hope it will give me a deeper sense of objectivity and appreciation for life and the happiness I seek.

My Interests

Reading, writing, learning, conversation, education, imagination, music, etc...anything art-related.

I'd like to meet:

In a way, I'd like to meet everybody, but I always wonder if I'd actually be talking to the person, or the representative. In a more direct sense, I'd obviously love to meet a Roman citizen from around the time of Christ just to have an emotional understanding of the time they lived in. Larger figures, such as Caeser or Cleopatra would be interesting, just as it would be neat to meet with Rameses or Moses.

Heroes:

I suppose that there have been people who inspired me. Some of those people have spanned centuries just to lay their corageous life on my door step, perhaps doing nothing more than pointing out a suggestion. Yeah I suppose those people have done many things for me. But I will always say that anything or anyone that challenges you is the greates hero of the moment. These people will make you better than your previous conception. My heroes are the people in my life that criticize, analyze, and challenge me on every level. Friedrich Nietzshce would say that he thanked his enemies more than anyone else because they alone gave him the chance to use his gun. Everyone is my hero because everyone shares so many different perceptions of the same things you and I look at. Everyone is a friend and enemy alike; all heroes waiting to be discovered.
