What else is there to know about me? I'm a walking contradiction. I'm interested in politics yet I collect Barbies and watch wrestling. I vote Green, yet I've grown up in ultra conservative Christian schools. I'm very open to hearing other ideas, however. I think you can't make an informed decision on anything unless you get ideas from a LOT of people. A year at Bible college (including some in depth Islam studies and a mosque visit) really opened my eyes to differences of opinion.
I have an interest in creative arts, having studied music and drama throughout school (and out... grade 7 piano and a course at NIDA), but these days I don't really have an outlet for that. I channel most of my creative energy into dress up parties which is quite sad. lol. Hopefully I'll find something to inspire me again.
Working with cars was a path predestined for me in some respects. My dad (in my top friends) used to race both bikes and cars and so I've grown up around the automotive industry. I started in the industry as a promo girl at motor shows and events, but I never thought I'd be doing it full time especially in the prestige end of the sector, and I've been at it for nearly 2 years now. I've met the most amazing people here and it's been such a great experience that I'm actually enjoying again at the moment.
As for my Barbie collection, I have around the same amount of Barbies as I do pairs of shoes (now well over the 50 mark). I'd say about 90% of my Barbies are still boxed. I have a few "collector edition" ones, but the vast majority are movie dolls. I've got the full 2007 Wizard of Oz set, 1999 Wizard of Oz set, the first Grease set and the full DC Comics Set. I even have a Spongebob Squarepants Barbie.
Wrestling is the #1 passion though I must say. I started watching in the mid to late 90's when Vince McMahon's corporation came along with The Rock and I haven't stopped since. I've been to every WWE RAW tour, the most recent Smackdown/ECW tour and the Global Warning tour as well. I've met almost the entire WWE roster at the last 2 tours (and had a nice offer from my favorite... who got married a few weeks after he was here... NICE ONE!). I'm not big into local wrestling at the moment because it's tapered off a lot. If they change directions I might start going again but they just seem so damn lame at the moment that I'm actually embarassed taking first timers along. I really hope they pick up.
