Bishop Ernest Johnson has been pastoring and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world since the age of 16 years old. Sis. Janice Burnam shared the revelation of Jesus Christ and Acts 2:38 while they both rode on the famous 34 Bus routed from Compton, Ca. to downtown Los Angeles, where Sis. Burnam worked in the alley, and Bishop connected to go to school in Hollywood.Bishop Johnson founded the JESUS IS THE ANSWER Television broadcast which aired on THE WORD NETWORK, TBN, THE BLACK FAMILY CHANNEL and THE HARVEST TIME NETWORK. The broadcast orginiated from the local cable station in Compton, Ca.He also co-counded the Todd Bridges Youth Foundation in the City of Compton, with famed actor Todd Bridges in 1992 after the civil unrest due to the Rodney King Verdict in Los Angeles, Ca. The foundation was started to offer aid, educational, recreational, after-school and sports programs to disadvantaged youth in Los Angeles County. They have served as family councelors, youth advocates, providers of after school programs and tutoring support for the youth that it serves.Bishop Johnson is also responsible for trainging many successful young pastors, 25 and growing, and over 50 ministers who are presently working in the ministry field.
