Mr. Pitiful Soul Band

The Mr Pitiful Soul Band, since 1994, has been defined by the press as one of the most important soul bands in Italy. They have appeared twice at the Porretta Soul Festival, one of the most important soul festivals in Europe. They have a vast repertoire, featuring the Memphis and Detroit sound and covering classics from the Stax and Motown labels. Their performance includes numbers by Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Fontella Bass, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Four Tops, Wilson Pickett, Ray Charles and many others They also make musical incursions into 70’s and 80’s dance music - Earth Wind & Fire, Diana Ross, Gloria Gaynor.
