'Fax Me (BENK's Printer Jam)' Due to the fantastic invention that is the internet, someone found me and liked what I did, he then thought it would be a good idea to get me to remix one of his tunes. So i did. That person is called Analogue a.k.a. Dawson & Crin. See my top friends for their myspace!
'Everybody (BENK's Rip It Up and Start Again Remix)' My mate Easty made a passing comment that I should remix the Backstreet Boys. So now here it is: a remix with a lean to the wonky direction that has started to become more prominent in my DJ sets. We all remember the original "Everybody now, yeah, rock your body now, yeah!"
'He Said He Loved Me (BENKs K Special Twist)' I saw the video for this track the other night whilst a little spangled and even though I'm not the biggest fan of Reverend and the Makers I thought it was ripe for a BENKBENKBENK reworking. So here it is with with me very own S-S-S-Special Twist. Enjoy! Check out the original on the Reverend's space.
'DJs Don't Dance' is a bit more techy and dirty than the remixes below, it is also the first wholly original track i've done. It's also my present favourite and probably the direction im going to be taking the marsh sound.
'Touch the Stars (BENK's BouncyBouncy Mix)' was created as a distraction from doing university work one stressful evening. It's a remix of french Glam/Electro/Punk outfit Fluidrock and the Bubblebot's 'Touch the Stars', they're at present unsigned so give em a listen.
'Alala (BENK's Chicken Nugget Mix)' is an electro remix of CSS's 'Alala'. They're a brazilian band who are definately worth checking out. See my top friends for their myspace.
