About Me

..
Click Here to get your own forecast for your Myspace page.I like to think NOTHING gets me down.. even though the universe has thrown all sorts at me....but of course it does! I've changed as a person because of it and done stuff I didn't know I was capable of..so that must be good..surely?I hail from The Forest of Dean...well that's where I was born and where I went to school... East Dean Grammar and The Royal Forest of Dean Grammar... and where my family still live...hence my quirky ways!! So sorry my fellow foresters but you've all got a lot to answer for! I've lived in quite a few places in the south of England but ended up back in good old Brizzle where I did my training and where I met my two fabulous friends...we were the original 'Take Three Girls!...TV prog. of the era for those of you old enough to remember! I have two children whom I adore and two sweet little guard cats called Cleo and Ebony! I'm a hopeless romantic...I like to sing, dance,laugh a lot and have fun and simply love the colour pink...it's my signature! In fact... pink is like red but not quite!I hate the taste of coriander...yuk!...love avocados though and strawberries too! I used to eat fresh salmon everyday 'cos it's pink and I liked the flavour...not anymore...I just can't face another fillet!I play the piano..just a little bit! In fact Sir Jimmy Young's mother taught me how to play. She and he lived a few doors away from me and the lessons began and ended with one of Jimmy's songs played on an old record player...well someone had to listen to them... she was very proud of her boy! When I was a primary school teacher I used to be in charge of music...well I taught the kids how to make and shake their own maracas! I wrote the pantos for them to perform...that was a laugh! Now I'm involved in a different kind of music and that's fun too and I've met some amazing people along the way...including the lovely Joy.I don't know why, but I've only just realised that I've failed to mention a very important part of my life as Community Fundraiser for St Peter's Hospice in Bristol. How did I do that? The Hospice takes care of people from the age of 18 with terminal illness, usually cancer and cares for them in a beautiful way at the end of their life. A cause which is very dear to my heart and why I left teaching.}
