I was born in Belgium in 1981 in a boring little town called Tongeren. Being raised with the music collection of my stepfather, I discovered bands like Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Van Halen and KISS. From there on, I went on my own musical journey through rock, southern rock and metal and I came along bands like AC/DC, Motorhead, Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pride & Glory, Black Label Society, Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden and many others.
I decided to pick up the guitar and throughout the years I developed my own sound and style, combined with the raw power of my Peavey 5150 Eddie Van Halen Signature Combo. Lots of rhythm, palm muting, false harmonics, pentatonic riffs and all sorts of goodies to drive my neighbours up the wall, became my trademarks.
Nowadays my weapons of choice are a Gibson Les Paul Custom Zakk Wylde Bullseye, a Gibson Les Paul Custom Plus and a Dean ML 79. The Peavey 5150 EVH Combo made room for both a Marshall JCM 2000 and an ENGL Invader head, combined with Marshall 1960 cabinets. They provide me with pretty much every possible sound I'm looking for.
