About Me
Formed in 2004, the band originally started off by covering songs by Metallica, In Flames, and Children of Bodom. After a few months of covering songs, they decided that they wanted to become an original band, and to write original material. They put out a demo CD called Seven Sins which showcased the band's first songs ever written.
After the release of the demo CD, the band underwent some line-up changes; the drummer, Nick Lewis, and the 3rd guitarist, Adam Stalmach, both departed from the band. Shortly after in 2005, a new drummer was found; Jake Burton. The band jammed to re-learn all of the songs quickly, and tons of shows were played.
During this time, a new vocalist was found; Korie Sheffer. The band then decided that the songs on Seven Sins weren't up to par, and that they wanted to start fresh. They scrapped all of the old ideas, and started writing new material for their first EP.
In early 2006, after jamming on the new material, Jake departed from the band, and Mike Bauman took up the drumming duties for Morbid Theory. They re-learned all of the songs with Mike, and started writing more material for the new EP.
For about a year, they played shows with bands like Norther, Quo Vadis, The Agonist, and Protest the Hero. These were the first shows where they played the new material, and the response was great.
The band finished recording their first EP, Chaos Breed, during the summer of 2007 and it was then released in December of that same year. After the release, they played shows supporting it for a little over a year.
Once all of those shows were done, writing for their new, first actual full-length CD began in the summer of 2009. They parted ways with Dan Babcook and Bobby Redman stepped in as the new bassist. Also, they found a new keyboardist; Dave Bauman.
As the year goes on, writing for the new CD will come to an end, and then the band will to be in the studio by the beginning of 2010 - to bring metal to the masses as they have time and time again!
