The Madonna Bros. are a hard rocking Michigan based band, known for their explosive guitar solos, thunderous drums and roaring melodic vocals and bass lines. Starting in 2004 Tony and Joe began to create songs and ideas for what would become The Madonna Bros. The band of “brothers†originated in 2004 among Tony Madonna, Joe Madonna, James Ramsay and Hans Guilbeaux.
After recording a 4 song demo, the band began to promote in the local Michigan scene and gained rapid recognition which led to performing in numerous venues throughout the Metro Detroit area including the Hayloft Liquor Stand, TNT's,The Emerald Theatre, The Royal Oak Music Theater, The Ritz, The Bullfrog, and St. Andrew’s Hall. The band has also been aired on Bubba The Love Sponge show broadcasted on Sirius Radio on Howard 101. Also local Detroit stations WRIF and 89x have aired the groups songs. The Madonna Bros. have shared the stage with national groups Quiet Riot, Drowning Pool, Ratt, Adema and 2007 Ozzfest performer The Showdown.
The group has recorded and released a full length album titled, "Night's Eye." The cd contains familiar and new songs for the devoted fan base and all those who will become fans. The CD showcases the band’s various songwriting influences and their heroes and will leave you in awe with their sometimes haunting yet addictive music and lyrics. Their live show truly captures their pure energy with multiple stage designs and showmanship.
In 2009, James departed and the search began for a new bass player. After a long search, the "brothers" stumbled upon Ryan Hearld, guitar player turned bassist. Armed with a new bass player and fresh attitudes, The Madonna Bros are ready to take Detroit by storm.
