From mellow acoustic pieces to bright, upbeat, electric tunes, Alex Koman performs a variety of original songs within the pop/rock genre. Growing up with influences such as Third Eye Blind , Vertical Horizon , and the Goo Goo Dolls , he has used his love of mainstream popular music to create a unique yet appealing sound.
His live act consists of original pieces and songs from Hanging On and The Last Escape EP . It encapsulates what Alex hopes is both meaningful and energetic music. Reflecting himself and his past experiences, Alex’s songs are personal messages and reminders of how he continues to grow, while still being easily relatable to everyone through their general themes.
Alex has now recruited the aid of a full band, with Kevin Herndon (guitar), Christopher Brusa (bass), and Nathan Claypoole (drums). The quartet looks to book shows in North Carolina and play with other bands from the local area.
