What you may not know about me is that I considered long and hard joining the military as special forces. My dad kind of steared me away from that and in the current direction I'm headed (the whole school/job/family thing... probably best this way). However I've always wanted to be a spy though. I try to keep up on spy things, espionage, foreign relations etc. My main source right now you can view below:In other news, I'm going to begin training for my very first Marithon! Ok, it's not going to be right away, I'll wait for warm weather. ...Well it's really only a half-marathon, but going from long distance meaning the 400M dash to 13 and some odd miles is one big step for Ben-kind.
I'll keep you posted in a blog or two.I belive that most things can be reduced to simple truths. Finding those truths amidst lifes' complexities is one of the more challenging and prodding facets of living that I enjoy. Enough pontification.
If I could do whatever I wanted, I think I'd try my hand at being a professional musician. Right now I play bass, sax, & piano. I play in a band on the weekends, ...that would be the life. Actually I enjoy the line of work I'm in tremendously. I'm finishing up my General Sugery residency and absolutely love it.
I am happily married to the beautiful Jessica Stone; Benjamin Thomas just took his first steps last week! We just celebrated his 1st B-day, he is doing very well. ...more later.
