Biography 2002-2004
The OUTWORLD project was planned around the half of the year 2002C, as the leader Lord Jian MGx4 was involved in the search of a line-up able to create a real and true sound dimension, differently from the normal blend of various kinds of electronic music, all due by a period of high devotion to the Cyber-Metal; but he soon gave up -temporary- his search.
In September 2004C, OUTWORLD project officially established the connections to the world. Caught in a good inspirations time, the leader began to work using various musical programs; so Sir Shelzar, an old leader's friend, joined Lord Jian and showed his talent in composing electro music. After this the first song, Cerebral Revolution, was created. Once listened this track, Wolvie, who was a former keyboard player from an acid-techno-trance project acting during 1996C, decided to aggregate.
After a first session, the band ran full speed ahead about the sound definition, thus the first 8 tracks were completed in the first half of January 2005C. But an aspect needs to be underlined: OUTWORLD was born as a declaration of war against a branch of electronic music- the so-called "House Music"- which has drowned despite the very rich in number audience-in a swamp for brainless people, who get satisfied by monotonous basis "enriched" by simply strange sound effects and some silly bullshits vocals.
So, if you too are aware of this... let's go together to the Outworld Dimension!.
Biography 2005
Since March 2005 Outworld started to work on the new release, the full-length "Child Of Another World", an utopian and hi-tech concept, concerning the re-creation of the world.
In June, while the new album was in the middle of the building process, Sir Shelzar (fx synths and loop), due to family troubles, decided to leave the band. After this decision Lord Jian and Wolvie settled to make Outworld project survive, choosing to use digital synth mini-disc, even if this solution has never been adopted. Right before the final production process (November/December), Lord Jian knew Hellrider (keyboard, chorus and digital synths), because of a problem with his hardware. During the hardware repair Lord Jian realized he has in front of him the person who can take the place of Sir Shelzar and make the Outworld project last.
Biography 2006
Between January and April the whole album was been rearranged to build a new sound more definite and more expressive, in order to reach a new musical dimension. Before vocal parts for Child Of Another World were recorded, the project started writing new material for the third album, thanks to the stability of the new line-up. Between March and May, the band wrote lyrics for the Child Of Another World. Between June and July the production of the album was finished and the group decides to take a stand, to let its sound grow harder and started to work on the new album with new strength.
Biography 2007
After Child of Another World release, the band managed to send out their CD to EBM-Industrial-Dark-Alternative webzines to have some reviews. The responses were clashing: in the worst case, Outworld’s stuff seemed to have been delivered to any kind of reviewer but that who normally felt the need to listen very accurately or to knew something about or simply appreciate this kind of electronic music; in the best case, the songs, the structures and the melodies quality were very well underlined in the reviews , but in some of them it was stated that the whole album lacked sometimes in power and unity. In fact, the songs were too much step further than those of the previous album, resulting in an experiment of Metal-like structured songs with digital appearance, and thus should have deserved a more experimental kind of sound production and engineering process. This undermined its whole strength and solidity, maybe also due to the line up problems occurred during the single songs composing process. The band decided that this would not happen again.
Biography 2008
Working on, the hardware, the software and the sound engineering abilities of Lord Jian began to increase in amount. Then, the best songs in the Outworld data base were remanufactured according to his improved skills about sound quality, and Wolvie and Hellrider tried to push their composing work to the extreme limits of the genre itself. During this process, Outworld planned to go to Hocico show at Rome (Jailbreak, 04/26/2008), and managed to produce a brief showcase of their stuff, remastering eight songs from the first two albums. The CD was called “96khz Twilight Raid†and included a little redesigned version of the CD Rom track used earlier for Child Of Another World, accorded with the cover artwork. The artwork itself was a mix between the first iconic-graphic productions, with the images of the members dwelling in a not-so-abstract scenario; the band choose to self-produce just one hundred copies. Then, after two hours of a beautiful set and few seconds before Erk went offstage, the voiceless and frenzy Lord Jian and Hellrider gave a little flattered and surprised Hocico singer the last copies of 96khz Twilight Raid directly from the first row of the audience, making a dream come true. After that, the view counter of Outworld Myspace increased a lot, and so the work on the songs went on with new strength and will.
Biography 2009
In January Outworld was scheduled on the spanish web radio Radio Umbria’s “KM EBM FM†broadcast playlist with the song “2012 Maya’s Prophecyâ€, an advanced track from the forthcoming album. In March the album was completed, and a trailer song of the album was added on Myspace playlist, but the title and the artwork are still kept unknown…
