ANGELKEYS MUSIC MINISTRIES. "I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth". I'm a Christian musician who's been in the music ministry for 34 years. I serve as Minister of Music for my home church,the Trinity Mount Carmel Baptist Church, in St. Louis, Missouri. Pastor Charles M. Roach is an AWESOME Pastor/Teacher.<>I began taking piano lessons from the late Ellen Kinchen at age 7, and started organ at age 12 from Dorothy Schenkel School of Music. I was first introduced to sacred music at the Pleasant Green M.B. Church, St. Louis, Mo., and the Hopewell M.B. Church in Wentzville, Mo. Early Influences were the late Martha Bass Peaston, the late Mary Hayden, Delores Day, and many others.<>Back in the day I'd listen to Pastor Clay Evans and the late Pastor Charles Nicks radio broadcasts. Those organists GREATLY inspired me. Twinkie Clark was and still is a great influence. I love all genres of gospel music, but my strength lies in the "old school".<>
I'm currently a member of the National Convention of Choirs and Choruses/St. Louis Gospel Choral Union, former GMWA member, and ASCAP. My original compositions were presented at 2004 GMWA, 2006 National Convention of Choirs and Choruses, 2007 National Convention of Choirs and Choruses, and 2007 National Baptist Congress of Christian Education. I've been blessed to serve as guest clinician in the Raleigh Durham, St. Louis/St. Charles county areas.
